Daegu Overview

Located 300km from Seoul to the southeast, Daegu is the fourth largest city of Korea with the main economic sectors of the textile, metallurgy and machine manufacturing industry, which is considered the capital of Gyeongsangbuk-do province. Although in administrative terms, it is not in this province. Daegu is famous for the textile industry, the cradle of the Korean textile industry, and is considered a "fashion city". Thanks to the convenient highway and train system, Daegu becomes an important traffic hub, connecting with major cities throughout the territory.
